St Peters Church

The very Reverend Dr David Thomson, Bishop of Huntingdon and Acting Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich, visited Felsham yesterday in glorious sunshine to consecrate an extension to the Church graveyard. Bishop David is pictured with (left to right) the Reverend Sharon Potter, outgoing Churchwarden Brian Deards, incoming Churchwarden and Chairman of The Felsham Charity David Williams, and Parish Council Chairman Simon Garrod. Land adjacent to the Churchyard was made available by the charity for the St Peter's PCC to purchase thus providing additional space for burials for many years to come. The Bishop conducted a special service of consecration, using his crozier to mark each corner of the new graveyard with the sign of the cross.
